The business operates more than 50 full-service manufacturing facilities worldwide. Value-Creating Performance for Your Packaging
Clariant Masterbatches offers an outstanding variety of color concentrates for standard polymers (polyolefins, styrenics), technical polymers (PET, PC) and bio-based materials for both the rigid and flexible packaging industries. Our masterbatches can be delivered either in granules or in liquid form (especially for transparent polymers and polyolefins in Injection Molding and Blow Molding).
Our wide range of CESA® additive masterbatches covers the broad spectrum of functionality and convenience needed in today’s packacking products from antistatic, antioxidant, antifog and antiblock properties to UV stabilization, gas barrier, and laser marking. Plastic consumption reduction can be achieved thanks to our Hydrocerol® chemical foaming agents for products such as caps and closures, yogurt cups, food trays, and others.
Clariant Masterbatches also offers specific color concentrates as well as compounds for the pharmaceutical packaging industry from standard EP (European Pharmacopeia)-compliant whites, standard ISO10993-1 and USP colors for ophthalmic closures to liquid amber for PET and PETG and additives for added functionality. All are biologically evaluated and manufactured either in ISO 13485 certified plants or on dedicated medical production lines.
The business is supported by a dedicated network of ColorWorks® design centers to help customers reduce product development times and differentiate brands. These centers provide brand managers, designers, and marketing personnel with customized global color management services and design tools.
