Leading luxury packaging supplier Boxes Prestige has created the striking packaging for a new Magners gift pack, on sale in Tesco stores now.The packs, which have been created by The Gift Pack Company, went into stores in time for Father’s Day.Boxes Prestige printed the packaging in four colours plus a satin varnish, with window-patching to display the product. The cartons were printed on a 500um Frovi Board, with crash-locked base gluing to provide support to the heavy product.Magners premium positioning demanded its gift pack maintain the brand’s strong image. The design and artwork is inspired by the Magners’ vat house in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, where Magners cider apples are harvested. Using the design created by The Gift Pack Company Boxes Prestige also ensured the packs provided Magners with a luxury feel to appeal to the competitive gift market, and their expertise within the luxury packaging market allowed them to understand Magners’ requirements and create a carton with significant shelf appeal.
