Lüscher reports more visitors than ever before at its booth. Already on the first day, more visitors came to the booth than in previous years. The new flatbed CTP system MultiDX! and the proven XPose! Flex were met with great interest during the live demonstrations.

"We are very satisfied with the number of visitors this year", said Anton Tanner, COO of Lüscher AG Maschinenbau. "We are very pleased that our new developments meet with the requirements of the market so well."

Visitors were particularly interested in the versatile hybrid platesetter MultiDX!. The innovative hybrid technology permits the print plate manufacturing for offset, flexography, letterpress and screen printing processes in one single platesetter. Many label printers considered this as an extremely flexible and economical solution. In addition it also convinced the jury of the „Deutschen Druckindustrie“ (German Printing and Media Industries Federation) who nominated the MultiDX! for the Innovation Award 2011.
Also of great interest was the direct exposure of print forms presented to the public for the first time. With the revolutionary software X!Direct, Lüscher has developed an efficient solution for label and packaging printing. Compared to the conventional laser ablation mask system (LAM system), the rapid and environmentally friendly work approach of the Lüscher CTP systems optimises production. The process accelerates the individual operations leading up to the printing process and produces an extremely precise picture reproduction.
