Following strategic agreement with “Karelsky milk plant” from 2007, ORGANICA design consultancy developed pack design for the «Salmi» milk brand.
“Karelsky milk plant” just released its new cardboard pack from «Elopak» with a new image. A range of fresh (pasteurized) milk products is presented under «Salmi» brand for several years already. Fresh and smoked cheeses are well known at the Russian North-West and St-Petersburg. Few month ago manufacturer’ top-managers decided to broaden «Salmi» range with milk, sour cream, traditional Russian “kefir” and several other positions.
«Salmi» milk in a cardboard pack will be released only in one SKU with 2,5% fat, the most popular one. Afterwards some other fat-positions should be added to form an assortment range.

The brand positioning is specially created for traditional-oriented consumers who prefer local manufacturers products with short expiry dates and organic content. «Salmi» is produced at one of the most eco-clean regions of the Russian North-West region in the neighborhood with Finland – in Karelia. That’s why one of the key design objectives was to show nature images from Karelia forests.
