Easy-to-use air cushion packaging machine sold via web shop

Leading packaging manufacturer FP International plans to offer MINI PAK’R products (including a packaging machine, film and spare parts) to customers in the UK and Ireland via a special web-based shop from November 1, 2010.

Customers who visit the website – www.minipakr.co.uk – will be offered the MINI PAK’R packaging machine at a special reduced price of £999 until December 31, 2010. The machine can be purchased by credit card for the ultimate in speed and convenience.

The MINI PAK’R packaging machine, which requires no training to use, is particularly designed for smaller companies requiring limited usage of protective packaging materials, including businesses in the packaging sector. Speed, compactness, ease of use and convenience make it particularly suited to this sector. The small, lightweight MINI PAK’R machine fits anywhere, saving valuable floor and counter packing space. It can replace bubble, foam, kraft paper and loose fill, making it particularly versatile in a host of packaging applications.

The MINI PAK’R takes just minutes to set up – simply select one of five MINI PAK’R air cushion configurations that offers the best protection for whatever is to be shipped and then load the film. The MINI PAK’R automatically reads an RFID tag in the film roll and automatically sets the air fill amount and seal temperature.

The MINI PAK’R works fast, making 7.5m of air cushions per minute and offers the best possible protection as well as presenting products in a professional manner. However, its advantages don’t end there. For example, the MINI PAK’R is:

•    Convenient – it produces packaging material on demand and on site, which means less volume is transported.
•    Versatile – a single machine can produce five different cushions to cover a wide spread of applications including void fill, wrapping, cross layering, and corner / surface protection.
•    Simple – it sets air pressure and sealing temperature automatically.
•    Compact – with a length, width and height of 36cm, 33cm and 28cm respectively, it offers table-top or wall-mount functionality.
•    Space-saving – it eliminates the need to store bulky bubble rolls or bags of loose fill.
•    Lightweight – transport costs are minimised since the packaging produced by the MINI PAK’R system comprise just 2% plastic and are 98% air. The machine itself is also light, weighing just 6kg without film.
•    Sustainable – since films are manufactured from polyethylene and are 100% recyclable.

The machine is delivered with a quick start guide, a user manual (containing detailed operating instructions, machine specifications, how to change wear parts and a trouble-shooting guide), a spare set of Teflon belts and a one-year warranty.
