The ERA International Packaging Conference this year will be held in Graz, Austria’s second largest city. The theme “Gravure’s future in packaging markets” reflects the conference programme which will focus on gravure’s position in the booming packaging markets.
Beside presentations on current technical advances in the gravure process, developments in markets as well as marketing and legislative aspects relating to packaging gravure will be discussed. The event will be concluded with a visit to the plant of ERA member Alfred Wall in the morning of 18 November.
The event will also include opportunities to exchange information and views with colleagues from the industry, during the conference breaks, the informal get-together on the Wednesday evening in the traditional hotel “Das Weitzer”, and the dinner on the Thursday evening in the modern “Schlossberg” restaurant on the castle hill with a panoramic view over Graz.
ERA is again organising this event in co-operation with G&K TechMedia, publisher of the “Flexo & Gravure” and “Flexo+Tief–Druck” trade magazines. “Packaging markets are booming, and gravure is playing an important role in this.
