True press automation is the key for LabelExpo success

With a surprising sales increase of 25% during the Labelexpo 2011, MPS looks back on a very prosperous Labelexpo show. Not only in terms of press sales but also in terms of showing the audience what really makes the difference in press automation. Visitors were able to witness real press automation during the demonstrations on the new variable Sleeve Offset and the EF Flexo presses.

MPS is proud that both existing customers as new customers from all over the world, now in large numbers, have chosen for the quality and innovation standard offered by MPS’s narrow web presses.

According to commercial director Eric Hoendervangers the sales quantity shows that customers are satisfied about the use and functionality of MPS’ presses and they are convinced that buying a new press is a solid investment for their future. He comments that the market agrees with the difference in scales of automation. During the demonstrations people could see that MPS presses are the decisive answer for short and long runs, quick job and material changes; specifically during press start-ups. The high level of automation gives the total productivity which the current age demands.

During every Labelexpo day MPS held six well visited demonstrations on the offset and flexo presses. To show the ease of operating an MPS press, the audience was able to start and stop the press by only pushing one single iPad button! Visitors could choose the material being used for the job change. In no-time the press was in perfect print again and ran up to full production speed with a remarkably low waste figure. Thanks to the automated print pressure settings the audience witnessed how easy and quickly repeat-jobs can be uploaded form the job-memory.
