To combat problems caused by incorrect ink or coating temperature, Norcross has introduced the Thermal Conditioner™ Device, (also known as the Therminator). Using the customer’s own supply of water as well ink or coating, the two flow simultaneously through the Therminator to cool or heat the materials to desired temperatures.

At approximately 23 inches long when assembled, the Therminator can be mounted vertically or horizontally with an ink/coating flow rate of up to 10pgm/40pm. The Therminator mounts directly into the ink line without electric or pneumatic components. Standard materials include stainless steel and delrin, but Norcross has the capability and flexibility to manufacture this device with other materials, depending on the customer’s needs.
