# APC Packaging launches airless pump for skincare products

[**APC Packaging**](https://apcpackaging.com/?ref=packagingeurope.com) **has announced the release of its EAPP EcoReady All Plastic Airless Pump, made from plastic and engineered with airless technology, aiming for a more eco-friendly dispensing solution.**

The company provides packaging solutions for the beauty and personal care industry and hopes to contribute to a more “environmentally conscious” solution through the use of durable plastic materials and the elimination of the traditional metal spring. 

“As a leader in packaging innovation, we are thrilled to introduce the EAPP EcoReady All Plastic Airless Pump to the market. This design represents a harmonious blend of cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices, offering our clients and consumers a premium skincare experience,” said Rick Ponte, vice president of project engineering at APC Packaging. 

In similar news, [Aptar Beauty](https://www.aptar.com/beauty/?ref=packagingeurope.com)’s PZ Twist spray pump was [used](https://packagingeurope.com/news/twist-to-lock-pp-spray-pump-from-aptar-applied-to-nuxes-sun-care-range/10117.article?ref=packagingeurope.com) to package [NUXE](https://www.nuxe.com/?ref=packagingeurope.com)’s sun spray and tanning oil products last year, aiming towards a more environmentally friendly solution. Apparently POM-free and made primarily from polypropylene, users can twist the actuator to lock and unlock the pump, with an audible click indicating its proper closure in a bid to prevent leakage. 

[Caps & Closures](https://www.capsandclosures.com.au/?ref=packagingeurope.com) revealed its [EzySpray Boost](https://packagingeurope.com/news/pre-compression-trigger-from-caps-and-closures-incorporates-up-to-50-rpp/10311.article?ref=packagingeurope.com), a pre-compression trigger made using 100% PP and up to 50% recycled content, designed to provide an easily recyclable option for sprayable product packaging. The company states the trigger is certified recyclable with PET bottles, 98% with PP alternatives and aims to lessen demand for new plastic.
