The interlocking packaging for FOLI’s high-end range of oil and dressings has been going viral on social media
EcoSource, REEL and Transcend have collaborated to create REELchilla, a paper ice bucket designed to challenge conventional plastic ice buckets while delivering ‘premium’ presentation and a space-saving design.
Said to be PE-free, PLA-free, PFAS-free and fossil-free, the companies add that the solution can be assembled in seconds from a flat-packed format, can hold a 750ml bottle or four 330ml cans with ice and is leak-resistant for hours. It also features integrated handles for convenient carrying and serving and a printable surface for branding opportunities for drinks brands, hotels, festivals and events.
Shipped in a flat pack format, the product aims to reduce storage requirements and improve distribution efficiency compared with bulky, rigid ice buckets. The first samples of the bucket are currently being prepared for client evaluation.
EcoSource is a finalist in this year’s Sustainability Awards with its EcoSource Packaging Intelligence decision support platform, nominated in the Digital Transformation category.
