Kraft Natural Cheese launches limited edition pocket-sized bottles

Four green-capped bottles of cheese are shown against a white background, with bead charms. All bottles say 'Pocket Parm' on the front in white letters with a green, orange or red background.

Kraft Natural Cheese has introduced its Pocket Parm miniature bottle format for its grated cheese, designed to clip onto a bag and featuring a collectible charm.

Available in limited quantities this month, the bottles give consumers a taste of the new Tomato Basil Parmesan, Garlic Herb Parmesan and Cheddar flavours before their full-size launch in January 2027. Until the end of October, the company will be releasing Pocket Parm in limited drops throughout Los Angeles and Orlando in the US.

In addition, a custom Kraft Natural Cheese mobile billboard truck travelled through Los Angeles starting on October the 13th and will be rolling through Orlando in the week beginning 26th October. The truck is designed to bring the miniature bottles directly to consumers through a cheese-inspired dispenser.

Dhriti Batra, director of Kraft Natural Cheese at Lactalis Heritage Dairy, said:

“Parmesan has always been a staple for pasta, but we think it deserves a lot more real estate on the plate […] With new Tomato Basil and Garlic Herb Parmesan flavours - plus new Grated Cheddar - there are even more ways to add Kraft flavour to everything from pizza and salads to sandwiches and vegetables.”

Also in the cheese packaging space, The Bel Group is selling its snack-sized Babybel cheese in a paper flowpack made from Koehler Paper’s NexPlus Seal Pure, designed to align with recyclability requirements in Europe and the United States. Available in the US, Canada and parts of Europe, the format is believed to optimize hygiene, minimize food waste and cater to on-the-go consumption.

Small portable bottles have also been utilized by Australian Vintage's Poco Vino recently, which offers wine in 178 ml single-serve bottles for easier transportation, lower-waste sampling and moderate drinking at social events. Featuring a screw-top lid, the single-serve bottles are ‘sleek, attractive’ and designed to fit into a consumer’s bag.
